Visakhapatnam, April 15, 2013: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu has asked general public to give him one chance to get back to power to put the state back into order, which is in shambles.
Addressing a gathering at Srungarvaram in Narsipatnam as part of his padayatra Vasthunna Meekosam here on Monday, Naidu said it was high time Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy be dethroned for the benefit of poor in the state.
“It is high time that Kiran Kumar Reddy be dethroned. Congressmen and YSR Congress leaders looted the state like anything. Kiran Kumar Reddy is shielding the looters and tainted ministers. Give me a chance I will put the state back into order and bring back development in all sectors,” Naidu said.
After a two day break on the advice of doctors, the TD president resumed his padayatra on Monday evening from Srungavaram.
He walked only five kms instead of scheduled 11 kms. Doling out promises on the occasion, Naidu said if voted back to power he will waive interests on loans availed by Dwcra women, interest free loans to tenant farmers, loan waiver to farmers and drinking water supply to every village under NTR Sujala Sravanthi.
Actor and Rajya Sabha member Nandamuri Harikrishna’s son Nandamuri Kalyan Ram met Naidu on Monday morning.
Kalyan Ram said that he has visited Naidu to enquire about his health as he was suffering with knee and ankle pain.
Kalyan Ram’s meeting gained significance amidst alleged differences between the Telugu Desam president and his brother-in-law Harikrishna.
